TelePATH was founded through one of our earliest partnerships with Google X - Loon, which was based on the Aerospace industry and the use of stratospheric balloons.
At the outset of our involvement PATH focused on designing a pivotal component - the Flight Recorder Blackbox. The design parameters were exacting, stipulating the need for a watertight construction, automatic orientation for SAT communication, and the ability to withstand pressure changes up to 60,000 ft elevation. Moreover, the Blackbox needed to withstand the impact of the full payload weight during a free-fall crash. These specifications demanded a robust and reliable design.
We remained actively involved throughout the development of these stratospheric balloons, with a particular focus on creating low-volume, high-precision fixtures to facilitate critical component assembly, payload mounting, and launch assistance.
PATH continues to be engaged in this field, establishing partnerships in the industry to pursue new contracts in this exciting realm.
